Modesto Regional Fire Authority is organized into
five units: Administration, Support Services, Emergency Operations,
Office of Emergency Services and the Fire
Prevention Bureau.
The Administration and Support Services Divisions are responsible for Fire Department administration, support services, and
planning. The division is located at 3705 Oakdale Road.
The Emergency Operations Division is the largest and is responsible for delivering all emergency responses
and some fire prevention services. It consists of 11 Engine Companies,
2 Truck Companies, 1 Squad and 14 Fire Stations.
Each fire station is strategically located throughout the City
and County.
The Office of Emergency Services is responsible for
regional emergency coordination and training. It
is located at 3705 Oakdale Rd.
The Fire Prevention Bureau focuses on education, plan checking, enforcement, investigation
as well as coordinating emergency preparedness efforts. The Fire Prevention Bureau is located on
the third floor of Tenth Street Place in downtown
Modesto and works in coordination with the City and
County Planning Departments.
