Welcome to the City of Modesto City Manager’s page. As City Manager, I am responsible for the operations of city
government. This involves making recommendations to the City Council on a variety of issues facing Modesto and then
carrying out the decisions of the Council.
Modesto is an amazing community that has something to offer for everyone: a rejuvenated Downtown bursting with great
restaurants, movies, plays and festivals; and unique neighborhoods, wonderful family-friendly parks and a city full
of trees.
I am proud to serve the citizens of Modesto with the 1,000 other men and women of the City of Modesto organization.
