Comprehensive Fee Task Force

The Comprehensive Fee Task Force was formed for the purpose of coordinating all development related fee proposals and aligning all fee structures with the goals and policies of the General Plan and Strategic Plan. The fourteen-member Task Force, appointed by the City Council, will review the global development-related fee picture in Modesto, understand the purpose of each fee, its methodology and the nexus to the service or commodity provided, compare the context of Modesto's fees in the regional marketplace, create a framework of evaluating new fee increases in a coordinated fashion and make findings and recommendations to the Finance Committee.
